Aamir Khan, along with the cast and crew of his upcoming film ‘Dangal’, celebrated Makar Sankranti and Lohri on the film’s sets in Punjab.

“Wishing everyone a very happy Makar Sankranti!!! Flying kites is one of my childhood passions! Hope to hear a lot of kaapyo cheyy in the skies today. Lots of love. a.” wrote Aamir Khan.
Aamir Khan, dressed in white kurta pyjama, was seen flying kites with the locals. He has been working relentlessly to complete upcoming wrestling biopic Dangal.
Dangal – A biopic on Haryana-based wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).
The movie is currently in the second phase of its shooting in Punjab. The Punjabi village has been given a Haryanvi makeover for the film.
Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016.
