Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar’s new collaboration Bharat is getting bigger and better by the minute. Now popular comic actor Aasif Sheikh from hit serial “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai” has been roped for a pivotal role in the film.
The official handle of the film confirmed the news on social media. It said, “Ace comedian @iaasifsheikh from popular TV serial Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai to work with @BeingSalmanKhan after 12 years @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife #Bharat”
Aasif Sheikh and Salman Khan earlier shared screen space in hit movie “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” and “Karan Arjun”, now after a long gap of 12 years the actors are working together again in Bharat.
Now the film features an impressive and incredible ensemble of Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Aasif Sheikh.
The movie also marks a comeback for Priyanka Chopra and will see newbie Disha Patani as Trapeze artiste. The film is an official adaptation of 2014 Korean film, ‘Ode to My Father’. The movie will trace the history of the country from the 1950s till date.
It is being said that this will be one of the most challenging roles to date for Salman Khan as his character will transform five times and we will see his journey from the age of 18 to 70.
For the film, Atul Agnihotri once again joined hands with Salman Khan post the Blockbuster 2011 Eid release ‘Bodyguard’ and Ali Abbas Zafar directing the actor post-2016 Blockbuster Eid release ‘Sultan’.
