Filmmaker Kabir Khan who has been riding high on success post release of his last directorial venture, Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, is eagerly looking forward to release of his yet an another directorial film, ‘Phantom’.
‘Phantom’, has been in news from a very long time all over, and no doubt it is one of the much awaited release here in Bollywood.
The lead actors of the film, the dashing Saif Ali Khan and the gorgeous Katrina Kaif are all busy these days with promotions of the same along with their director.
Yesterday, Saif was all present at a suburban cinemas in Mumbai for the film’s promotion where they interacted with the media.
Saif at interview when asked about any similarities between ‘Phantom’ and his earlier release ‘agent Vinod’, stated that both are completely different from each other and they don’t have any similarities.
As the actor said, “No, there are no similarities between both the films. And one can’t compare both the films with each other, as ‘Agent Vinod’ was made with completely different intention. Be it the film or its songs.”
“ ‘Phantom’ is an action-thriller film, the base of the film is very realistic and it’s based on real event of 26/11 in Mumbai. Following which the response to the terrorists which one will get to see in the film is in a very exciting way. You will definitely wish the response India gives back to the terrorist post 26/11 were really true and that’s what the tagline of the film says ‘A story you wish were true’.” Added Saif.
Talking about ‘Phantom’, so far the trailer, posters and songs from the same has been very well accepted by the audience all over.
The film will hit big screens on 28th August.
