As An Action Hero, It is Difficult To Keep Coming Up With New Spectacles Says Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff says it is really difficult as an action hero to keep coming up with new things and spectacle for the audience but he loves his job.

Team SOTY 2 – Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Aanaya Panday hosted an interaction session with media for the “The Jawaani Song” from here film here in Mumbai.

Tiger Shroff has carved a niche for himself as an all action and dancing star. So when asked about him raising the bar with his each performance, Tiger said, “As an action hero, it is really difficult to keep coming up with new things and new spectacles for the audiences to see and I’d like to credit my team and my directors, who are always choreographing me differently. I continually work on myself, day in and night, so that is who it is. It is a vicious cycle but I love to do what I do”

The Jawaani Song is a recreated version of popular hit number by RD Burman and Kishore Kumar.

So when asked about feeling any sort of pressure for re-creating an old classic, Tiger said, “There was no pressure, because we’re not saying that we’re doing a remake. We’re saying that we’re paying a tribute to the legends, so it is not like we mean to replace them or anything like that. It is just our take and tribute towards them that is all. So no ways that is bound to happen but in no ways we can compare to the original”

The song features Tiger Shroff in a whole new flamboyant avatar. Talking about the song and how different it is from his personality, he said, “I used to shy a lot, even I am shy right now, so it is very different from my personality, but I am definitely grateful that I got an opportunity to perform on this song and I got to express myself that way….See nervousness is always there, I think it is part and parcel of my job. And I think that’s what drives me; I get my motivation from that”

SOTY-2 trailer was slammed by many for its unrealistic approach to school life. Talking about criticism on the premise and realness of the film, Tiger Shroff said, “It is not a heavy film at all; it’s just come and have fun kind of film. It is a film for youth, it is a film for the families, and it will be an entertainment sort of experience for everybody. Just come and have fun, don’t bring your thinking caps”

SOTY-2 is directed by Punit Malhotra, and produced by Karan Johar, under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film will be distributed by Fox Star Studios.

Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday mark their debut with the film, which releases on 10th May 2019.
