Actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen playing a Bengali character for his upcoming film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ opposite Parineeti Chopra. “”We are going to start shooting of the film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ with Parineeti in May. I am really excited about it. I will be playing a Bengali for the first time,” the actor said at the launch of Adidas Original NMD Collection.
Speaking about his look in the film, the ‘Vicky Donor’ actor said “The look will be revealing soon. You will have to wait for “Meri Pyaari Bindu”
Meri Pyari Bindu,’ produced by Maneesh Sharma and Yash Raj Films. Akshay Roy will make his directorial debut with the film.
The musical romantic film is set on Kolkata and a story about an aspiring singer and her love story with another character, played by Ayushmann Khurrana. Parineeti will be seen crooning for the first time. A teaser has been already released where the actress is seen singing “Maana ki hum yaar nahin…” composed by duo Sachin-Jigar.
Besides, Ayushmann Khurrana, who was paired opposite and Bhumi Pednekar in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, has started shooting for their upcoming project Manmarziyan in Shimla. The film also will be starring Vicky Kaushal of the Masaan fame, who plays the third lead in this love triangle where he will be seen romancing Bhumi.
The film will be released on 23 September.
