Actor Varun Dhawan just took to his social media profile and confirmed his next and first outing with Sriram Raghavan, a biopic based on Arun Khetarpal, stating it’s a dream come true.
Actor Varun Dhawan will soon team up with Badlapur director Sriram Raghavan for a film on 1971 war hero Arun Khetarpal – youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun was a second lieutenant of the Indian Army and was martyred during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. He was honoured with Param Vir Chakra at the age of 21, posthumously.

Meanwhile on the work front, Varun Dhawan is currently busy wrapping Coolie No 1 and Street Dancer 3D.
Coolie No. 1 is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. A remake of the 1995 film of the same name, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, and follows a rich girl who falls in love with a poor coolie much to the disapproval of her father. The film is set to be theatrically released in India on 1 May 2020, on International Workers’ Day.
