First official poster of Bhoomi starring Sanjay Dutt is unveiled

On the occasion of Sanjay Dutt’s 58th Birthday, the makers of “Bhoomi” released the first official poster of the film. The ‘Munna bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor who last appeared on the big screen in Rajkumar Hirani’s PK in 2014, is all set to make a blockbuster comeback with this emotional and sensitive revenge drama.

The birthday boy took to twitter to share the poster with his fans. The tweet read,” Here’s presenting the first official poster of #Bhoomi! @BhoomiTheFilm @OmungKumar @TSeries @LegendStudios1 @aditiraohydrai”.

His co-star Aditi Rao Hydari also shared the poster on twitter saying, “On his birthday, here he is- the eternal rockstar”.

After receiving an overwhelming response to the teaser poster of the film in which Sanjay Dutt is sporting a bearded look with a blood-soaked lip, the first official poster is sure to create a storm. The poster is featuring a never-seen-before avatar of Sanjay Dutt with an intense look and rage-gleaming eyes. His hair and face are covered with mud.

“Bhoomi”, directed by Omung Kumar explores the relationship between a father and daughter. The film stars outstanding cast including Sharad Kelkar, Sidhant Gupta, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sunny Leone. The co-producers of the film are Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh.

Omung began with the shooting of the film in February this year. The first schedule of the film was shot in Agra and the second schedule was shot in Chambal. Also, the climax of the film was shot in Mumbai.

After wrapping the shoot for the film, Sanjay confessed that he was emotionally attached to the film. He said, “”The experience has been wonderful right from the first day. It’s an emotional day for me as we culminate this lovely journey. I’m now looking forward to seeing the film release soon,”.

Bhoomi, which was earlier scheduled to hit screens on August 4, is now rescheduled to release on September 22, 2017 to avoid clash with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar.
