I am not Guilty: Sooraj Pancholi

Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi is not even a movie old, but he sure attracted a lot of controversial popularity, when his girlfriend, Jiah Khan committed suicide and he turned out be main suspect.

Things weren’t easy for Sooraj, as his father also had many runs with law before him. Actor never spoke openly about his relationship with Jiah Khan, here is his side of story.

“It was in nobody’s control. People didn’t realise that I had lost someone. I lost my girlfriend (Jiah) who I was seeing for the past few months and I was really upset. But I think it was destiny and it was written in book of life. People ask me what I have learnt from it. I don’t think of it as a lesson because I have not committed any mistake. There is nothing to learn from it. It was in nobody’s control and perhaps was meant to happen” says Sooraj.

Sooraj and Athiya are being launched in film industry by none other than Salman Khan, who has been a strong pillar of support for the troubled little debutant.

“I love him so much is because if it hadn’t been for him or his support, I would still be struggling. I wouldn’t have been able to become an actor because this industry throws you away during such times. He hasn’t done that and has kept me close to his heart and I love him for that” says Sooraj.

How did he personally cope with all the pressure and what was thrown at him, during that troubled and controversial time?

“My will power and the fact, that I am not guilty. I know what the scenario was and I know that I am not guilty. That is what pulled me through” says Sooraj.

Life seems to be getting back on track for Sooraj. He is opening his grand account into the world of Cinema in Nikhal Advani directed Hero and girls are just going head over heel, for this bad boy.

“I am single and I am looking for someone nice. Some one simple and dusky but very independent” says Sooraj.

Sooraj’s debut movie Hero releases on September 11.
