Krushna Abhishek who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, ‘Teri Bhabhi hai Pagle’ said, said he will be perfect to play Govinda if his biopic is made.
Krushna interacted with media for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Teri Bhabhi hai Pagle’ with the cast and crew on Monday.
With a lot of biopics coming out when asked if his uncle, Govinda’s biopic is made who does he think is perfect to play the role, Krishna said, ” I will be the perfect one to impersonate him. It the makers want to sell the film they can cast a bigger star but I will be the perfect one to play him.”
When talking about how the film, ‘Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’ and how the script is apt for Krushna he said, “I was very happy when I saw the script it was perfect for me. The role that I am playing it apt for me, so I was even more excited to shoot for the film. I didn’t even have to do a workshop for the role. It wasn’t easy but I had to do what I usually do on stage and it was a great experience.”
Makers released the trailer a month ago, which shows Dev (Rajniesh Duggal) wants to direct a family entertainer, but his lead actor Raj (Krushna Abhishek) has other plans. He wants kissing scenes and bikinis and decides to romance Dev’s girlfriend Ragini (Nazia Husain) on screen, making Dev very uncomfortable. Further complicating matters is the entry of the trigger-happy Don Arru (Mukul Dev), who also has his sights set on the hapless Ragini.
Krushna who is a standup comedian and has done theater before was asked if it is difficult to change mediums, he said, “If you are a good performer then the medium does not matter as much. Whether its TV, theater or film, it is important that you are good at your art. I try to do my best, to give my all at each show I perform, and each film that I act in. We are used to doing everything very fast and films take time so I do get bored if it takes too long.”
Directed by Vinod Tiwari, the film stars Krushna Abhishek, Mukul Dev and Rajniesh Duggal in lead roles. ‘Teri Bhabhi hai Pagle’ is scheduled to release on 13th July.
