The “Ship of Theseus” producer Soham Shah is busy on the post production of his ambitious venture “Tumbad” directed by Anil Barve.
Talking about the project Soham said, “The film is set in 1920’s which is a period drama and consists of mystery, horror, drama everything. I am the main protagonist in the film and most actors are new. Some from the theaters and few are from Marathi film industry like Deepak Damle. We have being trying to make this film since 2012. Its been 3-4 year now finally the shooting of the film is over and we are busy with post production. We are planning to release the film by next year.”
His film “Ship of Theseus” made waves at the Film Festival when asked about the plan of sending “Tumbad” as well in the film festivals Soham replied, “I want Tumbad to go to Film Festivals. One round of Film Festival should happen. But currently there is lot of post production work going on. For us this film is very big and its budget is growing day by day. If the film wrap ups in time we will send it for Film Festivals.”
“This film is just not only for the multiplex audience. It is just like grandma bed time story. Even single screen audience will get entertained by it,” Soham added.
Soham is happy that “Ship of Theseus” has made a mark which has in turn made way for his other projects.
As for production house he does not want to limit himself but wants to explore new stories in commercial aspects as well.
