Kajol was present at a press conference held by Lifebuoy for their Help a Child Reach 5 campaign on Wednesday. During media interaction Kajol admitted she was never Girl Scout during childhood.
Kajol who is the ambassador of Help a Child Reach 5 announced young Handwashing Heroes at the event, when asked if she was a girl scout when younger she said, “I was not a girl scout at all. I actually don’t know if I was a good child, I think I was little doldrums in honesty department. In childhood my mom use to me to Lonvala, so we use to roam around with my girl gang, but we were not girl’s scouts”
Hindustan Unilever Limited health soap Brand announced a new initiative to empower girls to make a difference in their own communities through a partnership with the world association of girls’ guides and girl scouts.
Talking about the campaign, Kajol expressed her joy that now over one lakh children will spreading the message of hand-washing.
“I am very happy that we have associated with WAGGS this year because when a child says something it just kind of stay with us, maybe we listen to kids a lot. I am very happy that we’ve over One Lakh children today, in this year, who will be spreading the message of hand wash and thanks to WAGGS for that”
Further adding, Kajol shared the objective of the whole program. She said, “We believe that at least the God will help us, so why don’t we believe that we can help ourselves, I think that is what Help A Child Reach 5 is all about. We all need to stand up and help ourselves and help around us to help understand what washing hands with soap and water can and will save lives and change things around”
Last Kajol was seen in VIP 2, opposite Dhanush, the film marked her return to Tamil language films after she was last seen in Minsaara Kanavu.
