I’m Not As Strong As My Characters Which I Play In My Films : Kangana Ranaut

Filmmaker Nikhil Advani’s latest directorial venture ‘Katti Batti’ is on verge of its release, following which the lead cast of the film, the dashing Imran Khan and the pretty actress Kangana Ranaut is all busy with promotions of the same.

Kangana who is known for choosing tough and unique characters in films, which we had witnessed in her earlier releases ‘Fahion’, Gangster’ and many others. In a recent interview Kangana stated that, henceforth, she won’t be portraying a character similar to the one which she has played in ‘Katti Batti’.

As she said, “I won’t be portraying a character similar to which I have portrayed in ‘Katti Batti’, as I’m not that strong person in real life compared to ‘Payal’ (her character in ‘Katti Batti’)”

“I Don’t think I will ever be able to go back to what I was before I did ‘Katti Batti’. It certainly doe make you sensitive to certain aspects of your life which one doesn’t even consider. And then life becomes more difficult, as life becomes more difficult, as it has happened with me post playing ‘Payal’.  Added the actress actress.

The actress also stated that she tried her best not to watch the final print of ‘Katti Batti’ for a very long time, but finally she had to give in following her director’s order to watch the film.

As Kangana said, “I did try to avoid watching ‘Katti Batti’ for the longest time, but my director (Nikhil Advani) forced me to watch the film, as he wanted to know my reaction and if there’s any changes in the film which I wanted to make, according to which he can follow the same. Recently, I saw the film, and I was like ‘OMG’, the film is very intense. I’m sure the audience too will feel the same way once they watch the film when it releases.”

‘Katti Batti’, will hit on the big screens on 18th September all over.
