Veteran actor Jackie Shroff who will soon be seen on big screens in filmmaker Karan Malhotra’s directorial venture ‘Brothers’, is all excited about his film, which is on verge of its release.
The actor who as all present at an event in Mumbai had all praises for his director Karan and his co-stars Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra.
As Jackie said, “’Brothers’ is a film which has been made with full heart. My director Karan Malhotra has made me work beautifully in the film, I have been in this industry from past 30 years, and so far I have portrayed numerous emotional roles in my films, but this for the very first time where I have played such a unique and different, yet an emotional role in my career. I’m very thankful to Karan for giving me this opportunity to play such strong and solid role in ‘Brothers’.”
Talking about his co-stars Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, the actor said, “Working with Akshay Kumar and Suidharth Malhotra has been amazing. Rest as you know the film is been produced under Dharma productions and the release date of the film is inching closer and closer, and so I’m eagerly waiting for the film’s release and hopefully it will be liked by the audience.”
Jackie in the film will be seen playing a role of father to both Akshay and Sidharth.
The film also stars actress Jacqueline Fernandez in major role.
‘Brothers’, is an official remake Hollywood hit ‘Warriors’.
The film will hit big screens on 14th August.
