One week away from the release of his film “Tamasha” Ranbir Kapoor who is opposite his ex-flame Deepika Padukone is sharing his past films flop reality.
This talented actor is leaving no stone unturned for the promotions of the film. Ranbir has given three flops in a row which include Abhinav Kashyap’s “Besharam”, “Roy” and Anurag Kashyap’s most ambitious film “Bombay Velvet.”
Talking about the importance of “Tamasha” in his career at an promotional event of Tamasha in Mumbai Ranbir said, “My life’s most important film “Saawariya”, my first film was a big disaster and I have learnt a lot from that film. Of course my last 3 films did not work at the box office. So, pressure is there because we don’t make film for ourselves but for the audience. I have disappointed my fans who thought if it’s Ranbir’s film it will be good. So it will be my try to do better films and better choices of the films. The final destiny of the film is not in my hand but I pray “Tamasha” turns out to be the film what audiences expect of me. If not this then next. How many chances I will get? I will try to prove myself, because I love movies and I don’t know anything else.”
Ranbir and Imitaz Ali have created magic at the box office with their last collaboration “Rockstar”. Ranbir is trying hard to make this film a hit so he is busy in promoting it extensively.
