Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan had a working Diwali. He was busy shooting for his upcoming ambitious biographical film Dangal based on Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
During Diwali he chose to be in Punjab where wife Kiran Rao and son Azad Rao Khan flied down to celebrate Diwali with him.
But the workaholic actor Aamir Khan had an unfortunate accident in Punjab when while shooting he collapsed after sustaining a shoulder injury on Saturday.
According to the reports the shoot has been stalled after Mr. Perfectionist collapsed on the setS while doing an action sequence.
“Aamir had been filming a long action sequence that required multiple takes from different angles. When he slumped during the final take, the unit thought he had pulled a muscle. He was in excruciating pain even after half an hour of rest and ice packs. He couldn’t even stand up so he rushed to the hospital,” the actor’s spokesperson said in a statement.
After the injury Aamir flew down to Mumbai with wife Kiran Rao and son Azad for one weeks rest.
He informed his fan about his well being on twitter by saying, ” Hey guys its not such a major injury. My back muscle has gone into a spasm. A week of rest and I will be back on shoot.”
Aamir has to undergo training to attain the second phase of Mahavir Singh Phogat life. The film is scheduled to release next December.
