The national awardee Actress Tabu who has proved herself on screen again and again with her strong pack performances is all set to rock the upcoming film “Fitoor” where she will be seen portraying Begam Hazrat character. But this talented actress is upset with many filmmakers.
In the interview for the film “Fitoor” Tabu confessed of being typecast.
“We have being given one type of character again and again. people in the industry think if you do comedy role then audience will not take you seriously and that is the reason people end up doing same kind of role.”
Been part of comedy films like “sajan chale sasural”, “chachi 420” and “Hera Pheri’’. Tabu further added,” I am more attracted towards comedy films but I guess people have forgotten that I acted in comedy films like “Biwi no 1” as well.”
Talking about the filmmaker approach toward her she said, “many filmmaker thinks people like Tabu in intense and serious role so take her in that kind of role.”
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor “Fitoor” stars Katina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Tabu. The film is slated to release on 12th February.
