“I support women rights, not individuals” says Miss World Manushi Chilllar commenting on Swara Bhaskar’s open letter to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Swara Bhaskar’s open letter to Sanjay Leela Bhansali has opened a whole new dimension in Padmaavat row.
Manushi Chillar reacts to the whole thing on the sidelines of Radio Mirchi Awards, she said, “To be honest, I think whatever is happening that everyone is putting their opinion forward and that is something I don’t want to comment on”
“I support women, I support women’s rights; I don’t support a particular personality or individual and I think I’d myself a complete Feminist on that. Like I said, everyone has their own opinion and they can put it forward and we should respect that”
Actress Swara has, in a scathing comment on ‘Padmaavat’, said she felt like a “vagina only” after watching the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. She believes the film has brought up the question whether women – widowed, raped, young, old, pregnant, pre-pubescent, have the right to live. The Actress was trolled badly on social media site.
Hate Story 4 Actress Urvashi Rautela, being a Rajput herself stated she respects Rani Padmini and wouldn’t want to comment without watching the film.
“I am a Rajput myself, I respect Rani Padmini and I really don’t want to comment much on the film as I haven’t seen it. But all I can say that trolling is such a common thing, it happens to everyone. During Filmfare it happened with me”
“Some people should not take trolling very seriously and trolling should not be encouraged at all” said Urvashi.
