My parents never asked me to score in exam says Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone started her career at a very young age as a model and later turned to be a successful and one of the top actress of Bollywood.

Her upcoming release Tamasha with ex flame Ranbir Kapoor is about doing thing what you are passionate about.

Talking about her film in an interview Deepika said, “Me and Ranbir found out that we both dislike maths when we were kids. I was a kid who was more interested in other curriculum activities than studies. I used to go in different directions when it came to studies. My parents understood that I am not interested in education and I had given hint to them that I am interested in Modeling. My parents were supportive and they never asked me to score in exam but to get pass. They wanted me to finish my basic education. They were supportive in my career.”

“But in today’s time there are lot of children who live for others. They have so much pressure to become something that parents, teacher, grandparents want them to become. And that is making us very mechanical. We are now very mechanical in our relationship because we are unhappy of what we are doing,” added Deepika

Talking further about the film Deepika said,”The film is about finding your true self and doing what you are passionate about.”

Directed by Imtiaz Ali “Tamasha” is slated to release on 27th of November, 2015.
