Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani talks about upcoming “Munna Bhai” and says one shouldn’t attempt to make blockbuster film but should focus on good content.
“It is a pompous topic of how to make a blockbuster. We did not know about the topic at MAMI festival. There is no way to write a blockbuster film. One should not attempt to write a film thinking it will be a blockbuster. Make a film for yourself… If you like it then people will also like it,” says Hirani at MAMI festival.
Rajkumar, who has made blockbuster films like “Munnabhai MBBS”, “Lage Raho Munnabhai” and “3 Idiots” said that he is working on latest edition of Munna Bhai.
“I am working on Munna Bhai, after a long gap we have found a script that has same level as previous ones. I didn’t make Munna Bhai for such a long time because I always thought that I should beat what I made earlier. It should be better than previous ones, otherwise there is no point making it.”
“Now I have found the script which is good and can be made in movie of that caliber,” adds Rajkumar.
It is indeed good news for Munna Bhai and Circuit fans, who are dying to watch the amazing duo back on their silver screens.
