Actor Ranbir Kapoor says his father Rishi Kapoor is doing very well on health front and will be home within two months.
Ranbir Kapoor was interacting with media on the sidelines of Panasonic “Cricket Dil Se” Event here in Mumbai.
Talking about Rishi Kapoor, who is taking treatment for his illness in USA, actor Ranbir Kapoor said, “He is doing much better. Hopefully he should be back within a month or two. His spirits are up with a lot of positivity. And he gets a lot of positivity from fans. So it’s been a hard one year for him, but like I mentioned earlier also, I think his only desire is to comeback and work in films. So this one year sabbatical has been a setback for him but he is really doing very well for himself”
With IPL Fever at its peak, Ranbir Kapoor, who is an avid sports lover talked about Indian Cricket Team winning the World Cup once again.
He said, “I am avid fan of football, so I watch football most of the time but of course, IPL fever is going on right now and very soon the World Cup will start. So I think it is a great year for cricket. So best wishes and a lot of positivity to our team India, hope they bring the cup again this year”
Panasonic Cricket Dil Se, which aims to encourage sportsmanship among youngsters, here in Mumbai. Talking about his association with Panasonic, which is the first brand Ranbir Kapoor has ever associated with, he said, “It’s been more than ten years since my association with Panasonic, the first brand I ever signed. And it is really great that I can be part of such a great initiative today, which is Panasonic Cricket Dil Se, which aims to encourage sportsman spirit among children’s, the youth of our country. And also instill knowledge and learning capabilities. I think there is nothing greater than that”
Meanwhile on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with Brahmastra, Shamshera and Luv Ranjan’s next.
