Riteish Deshmukh’s National Award winner film, Yellow to be the Opening film at 1st International Film Festival for the Persons with Disabilities (IFFPwD) 2015

The National award winner Marathi feature, Yellow produced by Riteish Deshmukh and directed by Mahesh Limaye to be the Opening film of the 1st International Film Festival for the Persons with Disabilities (IFFPwD), 2015.

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has collaborated with National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) to organize 1st IFFPwD, a unique three-days film festival for persons with disabilities which will be held from December 1st to 3rd, 2015 at Siri Fort, Delhi.

The festival will conclude on December 3rd which is also observed as the International day of Persons with Disabilities.

‘Yellow’ is selected among one of the eight features in the competition category and  had screened on 1st December, 2015 at 2:30 pm in Auditorium 2.

Producer Riteish Deshmukh says, “Yellow is a special film and we are honored & excited to be the opening film at the First International Film Festival for persons with disabilities. Such initiatives are important and will help spread the necessary awareness.”

Director Mahesh Limaye: “Proud moment for the entire team Yellow we are honored to be the opening film I’m very happy for Gauri Gadgil, who chased her dreams and made them come true, she is an inspiration for all of us.”

Mahesh Limaye will be present at the screening and will be available for interviews.
