Salim Khan, the veteran bollywood writer and father of actor Salman Khan was operated for hernia at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday. Entire “Khan” clan was present at the hospital.
Everything came to stand still for Salman khan, when his father Salim Khan was rushed to hospital, complaining about stomach pain.
Salim Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital here in Mumbai. Later it was diagnosed that he had hernia and needs to be operated. He was operated last night.
After the operation a source close to the family released a statement stating that he is currently out of the operation and is slowly progressing towards betterment.
Salim Khan is a prolific and most celebrated screenwriter. He has written the script for many famous block-busters, such as Zanjeer, Naam, Kabzaa, Toofan, Jurm, Akayla, Patthar Ke Phool, Mast Kalandar, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Majhdhaar, Dil Tera Diwana and Sholay.
He has his own place in our industry, but his sons Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz khan have made a place for themselves here which has brought him great respect and fame.
Salim Khan was earlier married to Salma Khan. Together they have four children: Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and their daughter Alvira Khan Agnihotri.
In 1981, Salim married actress and the then ‘item dancer’ Helen. They adopted a daughter named Arpita.
