After an outstanding title track, the makers of “Mere Pyare Prime Minister” are with a stunning second track, which has Shankar Mahadevan and his son Shivam Mahadevan crooning a heartfelt melody, Rezgaariyaan.
Filmmaker Rakeysh Omparkash Mehra dropped the second single on his social media profile. The hit making team is back with the new track, it is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and penned by Gulzar and for the first time ever, the father – son duo of Shankar and Shivam Mahadevan are voicing the track.
Mere Pyare Prime Minister is a social-drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The story revolves around four children living in a Mumbai slum, 8 year old Kanhu living in a slum of Mumbai, writes a letter to the Prime Minister after an ugly incident happens with his mother. It highlights the relationship between a mother and son, and stars National Award-winning actress Anjali Patil in the role of the mother.
It also stars Om Kanojiya, Atul Kulkarni, Makrand Deshpande, Niteesh Wadhwa and Rasika Agashe. It was the only Asian film which was screened at the Rome Film Festival.
The film releases on 15th March 2019.
