Sohail Khan reacts to question pertaining Huma Qureshi’s absence from this season’s Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
Sohail Khan and Huma Qureshi recently made headlines with their alleged link up; in fact Huma took to her Twitter account blasting a leading tabloid for running the story, quoting Sohail is like a brother to her.
During the media interaction, when Sohail Khan was asked today about Huma’s absence from CCL, the actor reacted, and followed it with rather lengthy explanation, which was not required at all!
Sohail Khan, first asked to reporter to stand up and asked him to keep standing, called the question “Lovely” and said, “Unfortunately, she can’t be a part of this season because we don’t have her dates. But her brother would be playing for us. We can’t afford a lot of brand ambassadors. But we got Kriti this year along with Tapsee Pannu”
“If Huma is free on either of the dates, we got three league games. When you have a Brand Ambassador, you expect them to be present for all the days and promote the league. So she wont be the poster girl for the league” added Sohail Khan.
Sohail said his brother, superstar Salman Khan, who has been associated with CCL since a long time, will come for a few matches.
“This time our home ground is Ahmedabad. Salman is the poster boy of CCL, he can come on our home ground and we can see him… If we reach semi-final and final then hopefully he can come then as well” said Sohail.
CCL 6 kicks off from January 23.
