The bold and beautiful Sonam Kapoor is not afraid to speak her mind was afraid once about what people will think about her.
At the song launch of her film “Neerja” when Sonam was asked what she is fearful about she revealed that she is afraid of her mother and stage.
“Beside my mother. You can’t notice but I am very shy person. I was not good at public speaking. I had a stage fear.”
Taking about her journey of overcoming her fear Sonam further added, “I gave stage performance 8 years back and again I performed after so many year because of Neerja”.
Giving credit to the real life “Neerja” for overcoming her stage fear she said, “It is a small thing, going to stage perform and have a talk. Its “Neerja” who was fearful of life that faced her fear and saved so many people and my fear is just what people will say!”
Talking about the campaign on social networking Sonam said, “We had a campaign which says #fearvsneerja and 90% of the people afraid to be themselves. And it was my biggest fear as well. I believe it is the biggest fear of most of the people.”
“Neerja” is an Indian biographical film directed by Ram Madhavani starring Sonam Kapoor in titular role and Shabana Azmi and music composer Shekhar in supporting roles. The film revolves around the factual hijacking of Pan am Flight 73, Pakistan specifically focusing on flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. This film shows how the young flight attendant fought for the lives of her passengers. The film is slated to release on 19th February 2016.
