“Spies In Disguise” Gets A Release Date And New Trailer

‘Spies in Disguise’ is an upcoming animated spy comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios. The film is loosely based on Lucas Martell’s 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible. The second trailer for the film is out.

The film marks the directorial debuts of Nick Bruno and Troy Quane. The animation film features voices of Will Smith, Tom Holland, Rashida Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Reba McEntire, Rachel Brosnahan, Karen Gillan, DJ Khaled and Masi Oka.

The official handle of Disney dropped the trailer on social media. It said, “This Christmas they’re saving the world on the fly. Watch Will Smith and @TomHolland1996 in the new trailer for #SpiesInDisguise”.

The film revolves around famous super spy Lance Sterling to protect it from grave threats, who in turn counts on the technical smarts of young scientist Walter Beckett to fashion great gadgets to accomplish his missions.

However, when Beckett attempts to introduce his newest invention of “biodynamic concealment”, Sterling accidentally ingests Beckett’s experimental work and turns into a pigeon. He must now find out how he can save the world from cybernetic madman Tristan McFord while being such a small animal.

It is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2019, and will be the first Blue Sky Studios film to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox.
