S S Rajamouli’s “Baahubali” first instalment is ready for release on July 10 and the audience and filmmakers alike are waiting to see this lavish historical production.
But the second part, which is said to be even bigger, might have super star Suriya playing an important role, as reports suggest.
The theatrical rights for Tamil Nadu for Baahubali were acquired initially by Studio Green, which is actor’s cousin Gnanavel’s production house. Later, Thenandal Films bought over the rights but Studio Green is apparently presenting the Tamil version.
In fact Suriya launched the Tamil trailer of Baahubali and during his “Sikander” audio launch he quoted that he wanted to be part of Baahubali.
Suriya has a strong Tamil and Telugu fan following, so he joining the star-cast would be an added advantage.
