“Baahubali” Famed Actress Tamannaah Bhatia joined hands to create awareness about Cancer and raise funds here in Mumbai. The actress showed support for the Helping Hands fundraiser cause of children receiving cancer treatment at the Tata Memorial Hospital.

“Helping Hands Foundation is associated with Tata Memorial Pediatrics, and they are helping generate funds for the patients suffering from cancer and cannot afford the treatment. They are helping 150 families, which is an amazing number”

“Unfortunately cancer has become so rampant and we hear it so often, sometimes we don’t realize how difficult it is for the families till we go through it ourselves. This is a very noble cause, it is a great initiative and I am always there for these kinds of causes and if there is anything I could be part of, I will more than happy to help” said Tamannaah.

The fundraiser is showcasing many labels this year, including Gehna Jewelers’, Shriya Som, Tamannaah Punjabi Kapoor, Ghana Singh BE TRUE, Abhishek Verma, Sonam Luthria, Kresha Lulla and much more.

Tamannaah also shared her Diwali plans and some candid details about her special gift to her friends, which is making her Diya’s.

“You see, for shopping women don’t require any occasion, which is why it is popular among ladies, of course, Diwali is around the corner so it makes for a good excuse to shop”

“This time around I am in Mumbai for Diwali, which is happening with me after a long time. I would like to spend time with family, meet my friends and do the regular festive things. I want to enjoy the festivities to the fullest. I like making my own Diya’s, so I will be making them and distributing among friends” added Tamannaah.

The actress also added that she is not a big fan of cracker as there is already enough pollution as it is. She said, “I don’t burn crackers, I think it causes enough pollution”
