The very talented Anand Tiwari last seen in films like Go Goa Gone and Byomkesh Bakshi, will be seen next in Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein, directed by Manish Srivastav.
When we saw the title track of the film we were surprised to see Anand donning the Charlie Chaplin look for the song talking about Charlie, the drug.
Interestingly, this Charlie Chaplin will have a negative shade since it personifies cocaine itself and the destruction it can cause.
The makers came up with this idea to convert the lovable Charlie Chaplin to an evil one to marry the theme of the film (Charlie, the drug) with the character of Charlie.
Anand was very excited to don this avatar for the song.
He says, “I have been a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin since childhood. For me, it is more like a tribute in my own small way. I tried my best looking like him. The moustache that you see in the song is real and not the fake one. I am happy that people are appreciating the song and the way it is picturized.”
The film, also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Amit Sial, Subrat Dutta, Auroshikha Dey, Disha Arora and Manasi Rachh, produced by Karan Arora under Picture Thoughts Production is slated to release on 6th November.
