Vicky Kaushal Unveils “URI” Trailer

Welcome to the New India – the country which will not take any nonsense and bring the fight to your doorstep. Finally the much awaited and explosive trailer of “URI – The Surgical Strike” is here and it has all the right notes.

Actor Vicky Kaushal shared the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Yeh naya Hindustan hai! #URItrailer out now! @yamigautam @SirPareshRawal @AdityaDharFilms @RonnieScrewvala @RSVPMovies”

The film is a military drama based on real life incident on Indian Army’s surgical strikes across LOC. The film stars Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead roles along with Mohit Raina, Kriti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in the supporting roles.

The trailer has all the right notes – patriotism, high octane action and precise and gripping tale, which definitely have us glued to the screen.

Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP, the film is based on India Army’s surgical strike on terror launch pads across Line of Control (LoC).

The strike was a response to Uri attack of September 18, 2016 where 19 Indian soldiers were killed in an early morning attack by Pakistani terrorists at the 12 Infantry Brigade headquarters in Uri.

In response, the Indian Army’s Special Forces carried out “surgical strikes” on terror launch pads across Line of Control (LoC).

It is set for a theatrical release on 11 January, 2019.
