Yo Yo Honey Singh is Back, Talks about Sabbatical

Yo Yo Honey Singh, the Punjabi rapper made a spectacular comeback at award show after a long gap of 2 years at the Mirchi Music awards held on Monday in Mumbai.

Putting an end to his self-imposed sabbatical, Honey Singh gave an amazing performance along with Ash King and other artists by paying tribute to the comedy king of Bollywood, Govinda by performing hits from the actor’s films.

“Now I am back and I will be telling you all about my missing day. It was journey, during which I wrote songs; even for that matter I completed “Dheere Dheere” despite being sick. So it a long story, it is an important part of my life” says Honey Singh.

Rumors were rife that Honey Singh self-imposed sabbatical was result of fight with SRK during Chennai Express days, other reports hinted that rapper is struggling with drug-addiction, but the truth of the matter is that he was sick.

But why not make public announcement and let people know about his sickness? To this Honey Singh has rather brilliant reply.

“I don’t believe in spokesperson, why should someone else talk on my behalf, explaining what has been said or written is right or wrong. Till now if anyone has said anything wrong about me, I have personally replied to that person, so when I was sick, what could I have said or explained” says Honey Singh.

Rapper also thanks his fans for showing him love and support, says “My Fans have supported me in this time, so keep loving me, keep supporting me and I will continue working as I have been”.

The Mirchi Music Awards night witnessed the presence of Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Surveen Chawla, Dia Mirza and many more.
