It’s a well-known fact that Salman Khan has a heart of gold and he proved it yet again; when he said he wish to not be nominated in awards shows, “You should not keep me in nominees. It’s unfair for new actors. We have been here for such a long time and being nominated. We should give the chance to new age actors. I can talk about me. I can come here and perform but I feel younger generation should get a chance to win the award now” the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor said at the Zee cine Awards.
Khan expressed that awards don’t hold much importance in his life, “I feel happy when others get an award. Otherwise awards don’t hold much importance in my life. But I like to attend these award functions as this is a time when the entire industry comes together. We get chance to meet so many friends, otherwise all are busy in their lives.”
Speaking at the event Salman also stated he was hoping for more good films, “I was expecting more films better than “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” this year. It would be good for industry’s prospect. I would also feel like to work harder.” The 50 year old actor added.
Workwise the actor is working on Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Sultan’. According to him “Sultan” is a tough film but it is progressing well. The film centers on Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan), a wrestler who has problems in his professional and personal life. Besides Salman, Anushka Sharma is in the lead role.
The film is slated to release July 6.
