Deepika Padukone attended the Hello Hall Of Fame Awards here in Mumbai. During her media interaction, the Piku actress expressed that she is well and there is nothing to worry about.
Deepika Padukone suffered a neck sprain injury recently and expressed that she is well and there is nothing to worry about. She said, “All good on the health front, I got so many wishes from fraternity and media. Things are back to normal and I will be starting my physiotherapy soon. There is nothing to worry about, let’s put it that way”
Deepika Padukone also talked about her co-star from Piku, Irrfan Khan, who has been diagnosed with a rare illness and has been missing from action since the last couple of weeks.
“I think we should always pray for people and good health. If his (Irrfan) health is not best at this point, I think it is important for all of us to pray, not just for him but for everyone, I say a small little pray for myself and everyone around. Yes I think the last couple of weeks has been emotionally challenging but yeah, I think we all should say a little prayer”
Further adding Deepika said Irrfan Khan is someone she loves as a person and actor. She said, “(Irrfan Khan) Someone I absolutely love, not just an actor but as a person. I have had some of the most special experiences as an actor with him. Piku will always be mine all time special films. I think he has a large part to play in that, but I do not know where he is, I do not know what has happened, and I think like he has requested that there are times when people need to be left alone for some time and figure their lives out. And we should respect the space they have requested for and hope for the best”
Deepika Padukone’s last outing Padmaavat, also starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The movie found unprecedented success at box-office and actress is grateful.
“I am feeling overwhelmed and extremely grateful for the love and appreciation, the success. It is not over yet, it is still going strong” add Deepika.
