From hit to hit, genre to genre, Juhi Chaturvedi has proved her forte in writing time and over again, says she will remain a writer.
Quirky tale of a sperm donor mixed with eternal love in modern day in Vicky Donor to the realistic, heart warming tale of daughter-father relationship in Piku, Juhi Chaturvedi has touched our hearts.
“If everybody becomes a director, who will write? You need writers. I will always remain a writer. Let everybody else make films, I will just write” says Juhi.
She made her debut as a scriptwriter in Shoojit’s sleeper hit Vicky Donor in 2012, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Annu Kapoor.
“There have been wonderful writers even in the past. It is not that the writers have suddenly become better, but writing has become everybody’s focal point, which probably wasn’t happening earlier. The ones which were happening, we used to label them ‘art films’. Great content was there earlier too but it was not in abundance,” she said.
