“I am writing three movies” says actor turned writer Kunal Kapoor at the 6th Jagran Film Festival here in Mumbai.
Jagran Film Festival (JFF) is an initiative by the Jagran Group towards creating a culture of cinema appreciation, kick started there 6th edition yesterday. It is an honest and sincere attempt by Jagran to spread this culture, and create a platform that connects great content with audiences across the country.
Kunal Kapoor is part of jury Panel for Short films, along with cinematographer and writer Shaji Karun and Iranian actress Mozhgan Taraneh for national and international awards.
“I am working on three movies currently. They all are different kind of movies. One is romantic drama, second is Action and third is a comedy” adds Kunal.
Kunal Kapoor was last seen in “Kaun Kitney Paani Mein” with Radhika Apte, which was directed by award winning director Nila Madhab Panda.
“I am excited about all the three movies. All three movies and character are different, something I have never done before” says Kunal Kapoor, hinting on the fact that he will act in all three movies.
Recently a Marathi Film “Court” which was the first Indian entry to Oscars raised many eye-brows and created quite a controversy. So when we asked actor Kunal Kapoor, what are his thoughts on that matter.
“I haven’t watched it but I do like to watch it. Whatever I have heard from other people, it is a remarkable movie. Whoever has seen this movie, has told me to watch the movie. People who know and understand cinema, follow the cinema, has the passion for it, they told me, it is a right choice and I believe them.” says Kunal Kapoor.
