“Kick” girl Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, former model, and the winner of the Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant of 2006. She debuted into bollywood in Sujoy Ghosh’s fantasy drama Aladin.
Fernandez gained recognition with her appearance in Mohit Suri’s erotic-thriller Murder 2, which emerged as her first commercial success and followed it with glamorous roles in the ensemble-comedy Housefull 2 and the action-thriller Race 2.
But her real breakthrough came when she joined “Dabangg” camp. She was cast as the leading lady in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, which emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all-time.
A star was born only because of Salman Khan! But when “Kick 2” was announced Dabangg openly said “Jacqueline will not be part of the movie”. This had rumours market buzzing that her relationship with Khan is troubled.
But for the first time, Jacqueline Fernandez opened up about reports suggesting her ouster from the sequel of Kick.
“I find it funny when people say that we’re ‘cut off’. Salman would never disrespect me or any woman. Even if he did say that he had Kick-ed me out of Kick 2, it wasn’t meant to hurt me. Casting is his decision, he doesn’t owe me anything. Our relationship goes beyond professional commitments” says Jacqueline.
So here it is folks, there is nothing wrong with relationship with Salman Khan which goes beyond professional commitments.
Jacqueline is currently busy with promotion of upcoming movie, Brothers, with Akshay Kumar, which is releasing this 14th August.
And she just finished an extensive shoot with John Abraham and Varun Dhawan for “Dishoom”!
